what payments do you accept?

We accept cash, credit cards, zelle, $Cashapp, and Venmo. we do not accept check. Pre-payment for services is fine as well. must use within 1 month (please discuss this in advance).

We recommend that you book at least 3 weeks in advance to get what you wants. the calendar fill up quickly, so if you know you will keep your appointment, you can schedule 30 days in advance.

What days are you available for appointments?

Sundays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. hours of operation may vary. days operation will change and take effect mid August and early September 2024.

is my deposit refundable?

All Deposits are non refundable. You can rescheduling within 7 days of the original appointment. If you re-schedule/canceled less than 7 days before your appointment you'll lose the deposit. You may wonder why the change? We do not double appointment. We're open 3 days a week, most of our services are 4-8 hrs.These are hard to fill slot

Do you offer classes?

YES! We offer classes for the Brazilian knots and sew in extensions. You can click on on our Training tab to get more information.

Do you only service black people?

can I switch service the days off ?

No our services are for every textures. from our photos you can't always tell our clients backgrounds for privacy reasons . We service all as long as our service works for you..We do not service any one under the age of 18 without parent presence. Parent must stay the entire appointment.

can I switch service the days off ?

Yes, if time will allow to get the new service you want. If your change of service is less in price than the original service booked, you are required to pay the full amount. The deposit will not be deducted from the new service.

Is there parking available?

Since we are located in Downtown Los Angeles there plenty of meter parking. But when getting hair extensions services we don't recommend the meter parking. the max on the meters is 2-4 hours. It is distracting for a client to leave every 2 hours to feed the meter..There is a parking lot right across from the salon. the cost is $7- all major card and cash are accepted . Please do not park on the roof top of the building , you will get towed.

Can i bring my child?

Please don't! You're likely to be in the salon for more than 2 hours and it isn't fair to a child to sit that long. They also tend to want attention and be disruptive , which can slow your stylist down, which will also take time away from the next appointment . Please no child/ren allowed.

I have old extensions at home,can use those?

Yes, we can re-use what ever hair extensions you have at home. As long as you know the quality of the hair and you trust it to last another 3-4 months on your head, I don't see why we cannot use it. With that being said, please do not bring them in dirty. Shampoo the old extensions thoroughly and give them an overnight conditioner. Fully dry the hair and section them off by lengths. Your appointment is timed anything not planned will cause a disruption in the stylist schedule or cause you to purchase new hair to avoid lost Appointment and deposit..

Can i add another service at my appointment?

If the add -on will take more than 5 minute, NO! Since we are an appointment only salon , we thrive on getting you in and out and timely manner to accommodate others who scheduled ahead as well. We suggest when scheduling your appointment you add all the service you'll need. Or risk not being able to get what you want done the day of. If the extra service you want is not available when booking ,please text to the stylist to request additional service.

Do you travel for hair?

Corinne has resume house call but please note that there are fees and any out of state or country travel accommodations are taken care of by the client before hand. text 213=205-6116 to further discuss this option..

Can I bring my own products.

Generally we don't have a problem with prescription /medicated shampoos. please discuss with the stylist before your appointment for products you'd like to bring in. We not are responsible for any undesirable result due to your product being used outside of what we offer. Service fee still apply at the regular rate despite you bringing in your products-there are no discounts.

do you offer promo ro discount to content creators?.

NO ! Any collaboration is solely at Hairstring,LLC's discretion.We sometimes look for models to showcase of services or a new products. If you like our services please support us the ole fashion way, book an appointment.

nHailing from West Africa, Côte d'Ivoire , Owner ,creator of Hairstring since 2005. Wife and mother to triplets. Corinne specialize in sew in weaves, microchet extensions, dream catchers extensions, Braidless sew in, Brazilian knot extensions and much more. Hairstring was created in 2005 while living in Maryland Corinne had a vision of servicing women who loved hair extensions just as much as she did. Corinne didn't like the open setting of most hair salon . People staring while you're having your extensions done was a turn off. with that in mind she wanted a salon that gave women who were private about their extensions more privacy. She rented a small salon suite in 2006, in gaithersburg, MD, Hairstring then became a private hair extensions salon. in 2010 ,Corinne relocated Hairstring to Los Angeles,CA.
